We made our booth out of denim as in your plans, but was able to find purple denim which I think looks GREAT.  The denim is so much more sturdy and durable than most any other puppet booth material I’ve seen.  We LOVE it.  In fact your WHOLE design invites one to use a little imagination and ingenuity to take it to more convenience.  You can’t imagine how many times we bless you as we use our puppet booth.  I hope that any of the improvements we made will bless you back!

Thank you so much for completing my puppet stage so quickly.  I received the stage on Tuesday but did not get a chance to put it together until today.  It is very easy to assemble, even I could figure it out!  I will be using it on Sunday, with 4th and 5th grade students. We will be practicing for a presentation on March 11th.  I have written a script for Noah's Ark.  It should be cute as it is also a musical. What could be better than singing puppets.  I am also planning a puppet presentation for Children's Sunday (sometime in June) I am interested in your Zacchaeus script and will contact you in the near future.

Zacchaeus

Zacchaeus is just what it sounds like, the story of a tax collector who cheats people out of their money and then climbs the sycamore tree to see Jesus. Jesus does not actually appear; his view is blocked from the audience and Zacchaeus by a large crowd of puppets. His voice is heard as he calls to Zacchaeus to come down. 

This script can include a large number of puppeteers to help with the crowd scene or a few puppeteers each having two puppets. We have performed this script with as few as five puppeteers and still managed a large, effective crowd scene.

We have both a long version and short version so that you can choose a skit appropriate to the time available.

4 unique characters and 8 or more crowd members, approximately 10+ minutes (long version), 7+ minutes (short version)

Daniel

Daniel is our latest skit. The emphasis is on trust in God. There is a king who uses big words that most of the people can't understand; a crier is present to translate for the common people. Tivel, and his mute sidekick Respin, trap the king into creating a law that Daniel is forced to break. Daniel is about to have a close encounter with a den of lions.

The opening and closing scenes have a crowd that includes at least 9 characters. A small team can accomplish this by having some puppeteers work two puppets at the same time.

We have both a long version and short version so that you can choose a skit appropriate to the time available.
